Sheila Hatch

Creative Director & President
Sheila oversees the strategic direction of the company and quality of our creative work. She brings years of experience and proven success to her position as the leader of our award-winning team of savvy advertising, design, and marketing professionals.

Under her guidance, Decca Design has transformed itself into one of San Jose’s most well-respected creative agencies. The agency has a staff of more than 20 full-time employees and an extensive network of established partners and vendors. Today, Decca Design serves a broad variety of business-to-business clients from Fortune 500 companies to promising startups, and several non-profit organizations as well.

Regina Damore

Vice President, Operations
Regina learned the marketing communications business from the ground up. Today, she’s Decca Design’s executive ringleader. She oversees our daily operations, supervises the account management and creative services teams, manages our in-house technology, and develops our workflow processes and agency policies.

Regina participates in the qualification and approval process for applicants for Decca’s philanthropic endeavors. In addition, she plays an active role in several community associations, including the Silicon Valley Women and Girls Summit, the YWCA Luncheon Speaker Series, and San Jose’s South of First Street (SoFA) Committee.

Regina has a BA in advertising from San Jose State University.

Adrian Mass

Account Manager
With over 6 years of digital marketing experience, Adrian brings a wealth of knowledge in the programmatic and digital ad space. He has worked across a wide range of industries including CPG, technology, retail, and professional sports.

Prior to joining Decca, Adrian oversaw digital campaigns from start to finish, monitoring and analyzing performance against key objectives to ensure client satisfaction. He developed post-campaign reporting metrics to share the incremental value provided through programmatic media delivery.

Adrian holds a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from California State University San Marcos.

Aubrey Garland

Accounting Manager
As her title implies, Aubrey does all the number crunching here at Decca Design. With over 12 years of Silicon Valley experience that spans accounting, operations, and HR, Aubrey possesses the perfect combination of skills, temperament, and attention to detail. All of which come in handy when implementing procedures, managing client relationships, and solving problems.

When she’s not juggling tasks at her desk, you’ll find Aubrey strolling the park with her two Yorkies or spending time with friends at the popular bars and eateries around San Jose.

Azi Afifi

Associate Creative Director
Azi brings an international pedigree and an award-winning design portfolio to the Decca Design team. She was born in Alabama and raised in Iran, where she earned her degree in Fine Arts from Shiraz University. Her educational credentials didn’t stop there. Azi picked up another bachelor’s degree from the Academy of Art University, and a master’s in product design at San Francisco State.

Her ten years as a professional designer helping organizations succeed have included two exhibitions in fine art and poster design, as well as awards from the Academy of Art.

Carissa Parsons

Account Manager
Carissa has more than ten years of experience managing integrated marketing campaigns. She has worked with a wide range of industries including technology, energy, health care, non-profit, retail, finance and government.

Prior to joining Decca, Carissa ran a major social media influencer marketing program and oversaw the execution of marketing assets including eBooks, trend maps, memes, and social tiles. Other projects Carissa has worked on include analytic reporting, websites, tradeshow booth displays, infographics, emails, direct response campaigns, events, promotions, print, radio, environmental, television and digital advertisement creative and media.

At Decca Carissa continues to dive into integrated marketing campaigns. She has managed paid social campaigns, out of home media, various collateral, media buying, email campaigns, speaker presentations, website updates, infographics and analytics reporting.

Carissa holds a BBA in Marketing from University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa.

Derek Takegami

Senior Account Manager
Derek has over 20 years of B2B marketing and marketing communications experience working for Fortune 50 technology companies, start-ups, and non-profit trade organizations.

Prior to joining Decca in 2019, Derek was Lead, Marketing Campaign Management for Humana’s Digital Health & Analytics organization, where he managed a small team of digital marketers responsible for web, digital communications, salesforce administration, social media, events, and content development. Derek established and developed successful 3rd party marketing relations with the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).

Derek is looking forward to bring his diverse experience with strategic marketing programs, campaign development, channel programs, branding and identity, advertising, sales tools, events, and collateral development to Decca and our clients.

Derek has a BS in Marketing from San Jose State University.

Heather Cresap

Senior Account Manager
Heather has more than seventeen years of marketing experience and has worked in a wide range of industries including technology, architecture, interior design, engineering, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, aerospace, and non-profit.

Prior to joining Decca, Heather had the opportunity to develop a broad range of marketing experience. Heather successfully executed marketing efforts such as writing and recording PSAs, trade show and seminar management, database management, developing marketing collateral, and website design. For multiple industries, Heather managed online campaigns, television and radio advertising, website development, and re-branding efforts.

At Decca, Heather uses her strength in project management. She works with Decca’s clients to deliver white papers, presentations, playbooks, landing pages, emails, web banners, infographics, website development, print ads, and media campaigns.

Heather also values contributing to the community and has volunteered for a local non-profit for over twenty years.

Heather holds a BA and MA from San Jose State University.

James Reed

Associate Creative Director
James began his design career as an honor student of the New England Institute of Art where he earned a BS in graphic design. His education honors led to a lead designer position for two nationally published magazines. Later, hired by Staples as a senior designer, James focused on package design for hundreds of Staples-brand products and contributed to creative solutions across multiple marketing channels.

As an independent contractor in San Jose, James has worked with companies such as Nvidia and BMC Software. In addition to his prestigious academic credentials, James has received design competition awards from the ADDYS, Summit, VMA, and the HP Poster Competition; and has been published in Step Inside Design Magazine.

Jason Brickman

Associate Creative Director
Jason brings over 15 years of Silicon Valley agency experience to Decca. After studying motion pictures and television at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, he worked as an interactive designer on all things digital, from HTML email campaigns to interactive Flash experiences.

His print design projects include product naming and packaging, logo and event materials and direct mail pieces for clients such as Logitech, Trimble Dimensions and VeriSign.

As an Art Director, Jason has worked on integrated lead generation campaigns, content creation and corporate materials for NetApp, Centrify, Lenovo, IBM, Thales, Citrix and Adobe.

Decca is excited to have Jason on the team, not only for his expertise in both the print and digital worlds, but for his passion for design and focus on detail and deliverability.

Jeannie Ditter

Senior Account Manager
Jeannie has more than 20 years of marketing communications management experience in high-tech industries.

Before joining Decca Design in 2005, she worked at a range of technology companies in Silicon Valley. At Cisco, she managed international marketing seminars for customers, implementing worldwide rollouts with online resources and localized content. At Hewlett-Packard, she developed sales collateral and trade show exhibits.

At two successful software startups, she managed corporate communications and was responsible for brand identity, website content and design, product launch promotions, sales materials, print production, direct mail offers, press tours, and ad campaigns. She also planned and supervised all trade show activity.

Jeannie holds a BA from Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota.

John Heck

Senior Digital Specialist
John brings highly diversified graphic and web design experience to Decca Design. He has worked with a wide range of startups, large corporations and non-profits. A diversity and depth of experience has contributed to his expertise in print and web design as well as product photography.

Before joining Decca, John worked on major gallery installations and web development for the Computer History Museum’s First 2000 Years of Computing, produced large-scale outdoor advertising for The Tech Museum of Innovation’s installation of MythBusters: the Explosive Exhibition, and oversaw the redesign of the national magazine for the U.S. branch of the International Plastic Modelers Society.

John has a BA in art from San Jose State University.

Kerrie Inouye

Production Coordinator
The Project Prioritizer, Kerrie schedules the workflow and coordinates the efforts of the art department. She supports the work of the account managers and creative team, coordinating with printers, photographers, consultants and other contractors.

A graduate of the Mission College Graphic Arts Program, Kerrie has a solid graphics background, from technology to medical, to the mysteries of the Egyptian Museum in San Jose. She has created ads for magazines and trade publications, catalogs, trade show graphics, brochures, and other print collateral.

Maureen Grey

Senior Production Artist
Graphic design meets fine arts. Maureen’s extensive background in both disciplines gives her a unique perspective on the creation of effective marketing and advertising designs for our clients. Maureen has more than 20 years of experience working at various agencies and technology companies.

Prior to joining Decca Design, Maureen was a designer and senior production contractor at Ariago Design, and before that she was a tech designer at Ambrosi. Her contract work includes Intuit, Beeline Group, and Schaub & Co.

Maureen has a BA in Art from UC Santa Cruz, where she studied graphic design and began with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Quark while they were in their infancy.

May Bojorquez

Senior Account Manager
May is actively involved with managing account services for a wide range of clients, with a focus on technology. As part of a team that helps Cisco accomplish its marketing goals, May has been instrumental in the successful execution of online marketing campaigns. She is experienced in managing print, outdoor, online, and broadcast advertising—most notably for Palm. In addition, May has a solid background in managing the development of trade show materials such as booth graphics, signage, and flash demos for both live and virtual events.

May brings 10-plus years of program management experience with corporate advertising, marketing, and packaging; and more than six years account management expertise in marketing communications and advertising agencies.

Her range of account service includes the coordination of promotions, sales training, launch kits, collateral, trade shows, web content, and online demos. May has also conducted competitive and brand awareness research and focus groups.

May is a graduate of San Jose State University.

Michael Lee

Senior Graphic Designer
Michael has been refining and broadening his creative skills for more than 15 years here in the valley. It all started in high school when he got his first job working at a design agency. From there, his creative journey led him to SJSU where he completed the university’s Design Program. Michael’s career has included working for tech leaders like Intel, and as an independent contractor for companies such as Cisco, HP, FormFactor, and Flextronics.

Decca is happy to have Michael’s creative expertise and wide range of digital and print experience on the team. He is also an experienced animator and web developer, and brings a unique perspective to each project he takes on.

With 8 years of creative team management under his belt, Mike has a wealth of presentation knowledge and experience. He’s created every kind of presentation imaginable, for every kind of space possible, from leadership keynotes and TED talks to Fortune 500 company product launches. He’s also served as lead producer for hundreds of large-scale presentations at big events and conferences. Mike has a passion for communication, collaboration, and camaraderie. And he feels every project should bring a sense of satisfaction to both his team and his clients. Mike also holds a BA in Philosophy from San Francisco State University.

Ruoting Zhao

Art Director
Decca is pleased to have Ruoting leading our presentation team. With her passion for visual storytelling, she raises presentation design up to a whole other level. A gifted illustrator, Ruoting brings a unique set of talents to Decca. She is extremely adept at translating complex information into simple and beautiful designs. While approaching projects with attention to the big picture, she always has a keen eye on the details.

Under Ruoting’s leadership, the Decca presentation team produces over 150 presentations a year including internal communications, product launches, templates, and brand updates, working with industry leaders such as Cisco, NetApp, Workday, and McAfee. She creates inspiring presentations for esteemed Keynote speakers at events such as Cisco Live, NetApp Insight, Workday Rising and RSA. Ruoting was awarded an ADDY for the Incident Response demo, a looping, animated presentation designed for Cisco GSX.

Before joining Decca, Ruoting has worked at multiple startups as a graphic designer and prolific book illustrator. She holds a BA in Visual Communication Design from Dalian University of Foreign Languages, China.
